Manuel Lepe has extensive experience in risk management, currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer for Latin America at BNP Paribas Cardif since October 2019. Previously, Manuel held multiple roles within BNP Paribas Cardif, including Gerente Técnico and Gerente de Riesgo in Chile, where responsibilities included overseeing the economic evaluation of business initiatives and ensuring accurate calculations of technical reserves. Additionally, Manuel served as Responsable Actuariat Amerique, providing technical oversight to Latin American countries, and as Subgerente Actuarial, focusing on process efficiency improvements. Earlier in career, Manuel worked as Ingeniero de Proyectos at Servicio de Impuestos Internos, leading the redesign of tax auditing processes. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Risk Management and Insurance from EALDE Business School and engineering degrees from Universidad de Chile.
