Marcin Makowski started their career at Atradius in 2008 as a member of the support team in the Risk Department. Marcin then became a Junior Underwriter in 2010. In 2011, they joined Global Corporate Banking (Bank Zachodni WBK S.A.) as an Analyst in Structured Finance. Over the years, they were promoted to Specialist, Senior Specialist, and eventually Manager in the same department. In 2020, Makowski moved to BNP Paribas Bank Polska, where they initially held the position of Senior Manager in Structured Finance and is currently serving as the Director in the same division.

Marcin Makowski has a Bachelor's degree in Finance and accounting from SGH Warsaw School of Economics, which they obtained in 2010. Marcin then pursued a Master's degree in Finance and accounting at the same institution, completing it in 2013. In 2012, Marcin also undertook postgraduate studies at SGH Warsaw School of Economics in Quantitative Methods in Capital Markets Analysis. In 2018, they obtained a CFA certification from the CFA Institute.
