Alan Cao possesses extensive experience in the music industry, currently serving as Manager of Film & TV Licensing at BMG - The New Music Company since November 2017. Prior roles include internships at METALMAN MEDIA, INC. and MICDI Productions, where Alan collaborated on music supervision tasks and gained insights into music editing processes. Early career experiences include positions as Runner/Assistant Engineer at Record Plant Recording Studio and Assistant Engineer at Stagg St. Studios, where Alan managed client services and assisted in recording sessions. Additionally, Alan served as an Air Traffic Controller in the United States Air Force, displaying skills in coordination and communication. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science in Entertainment Business and two Associate of Science degrees in Music Production and Recording Arts from Los Angeles Film School and other institutions.
