Tara Garrett serves as the Area Vice President of Product Finance at BMC Software since May 2024, following a leadership role as Vice President of Finance at Virtana Corp. from July 2022 to May 2024. Prior to this, Tara held multiple finance-related positions at New Relic, Inc., advancing from Principal Business Planning Manager to Senior Director of Product & Technology Finance between October 2018 and June 2022. Tara's experience at HP from 2007 to 2018 included various roles, culminating in Lead Product Manager for Home Consumer Printing, while earlier positions at Xerox and The Greenbrier Companies provided foundational financial expertise. Tara holds a B.S. in Economics from Portland State University and is an alumnus of Catlin Gabel School.
