Lakshmi Narayanan is the CFO at Bmb Group. Previously, they were the Group Corporate Controller at Banawi Industrial Group from March 2014 to October 2016. Lakshmi is based in Dubai and is responsible for 3 direct reports and the finance organisation of 31 employees across Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Morocco.

Lakshmi has contributed to the development and implementation of a robust and proficient financial planning and control system for the organisation. Lakshmi has also centralised the payroll and accounts payable functions and transferred the functions to Dubai from Saudi Arabia. In addition, they have made a proposal for automating and revamping the reporting and control in SAP system, as well as presented a proposal for upgrading and restructuring the finance function to meet the group’s strategy.

Under their leadership, the team has successfully Restructured the management accounting reporting to provide accurate information on Sales, margins and free cash flow on a daily, weekly and monthly basis by business unit and product line. Additionally, they have completed a business plan to turn around the Industrial adhesive business unit in Egypt and Food Flavors business in KSA from losses to break even position and then to profitability.

Lakshmi Narayanan started their educational career by becoming a Chartered Accountant through The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Afterwards, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Physics from Government Arts College, University of Madras.

They are on a team with Shihabudheen C. K. - Quality Control Manager, Hussein Safa - Commercial Director, and Ramez Jaber - Account Manager. Lakshmi Narayanan reports to Mohamad Khachab, Co-CEO.
