Rachael joined the Bluewater Health Board of Directors in June 2018 and is currently a member of the Quality Committee. Rachael is also a member of the Community and Rural Health Advisory Panels.

A member of Aamjiwnaang First Nation, Rachael currently works for her home community in the health field. Her commitment to equitable healthcare has led her to continue her education in the health sector. She is currently working on her Master of Science at McMaster University in Child Life and Pediatric Psychosocial Care.

Rachael brings the Indigenous perspective to Bluewater Health and hopes to help enhance community relationships. She will draw on her background working with Indigenous communities, in both healthcare and higher education, to create inclusive and culturally-safe environments.
