Evert Han Huernink has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Evert Han started their career at Trainee StichtingWerken in MiddenTwente, where they completed an internship analyzing processes and advising on ICT tooling and process changes.

Evert Han then moved on to IPTN, where they conducted university research, focusing on the implementation of an ERP package for a new assembly line of the N-250 aircraft.

After that, Evert worked at Nedstaal B.V as a consultant, performing a feasibility study and providing advice on the implementation of a sales module within the used ERP system.

Evert Han then joined Bluewater Energy Services, where they held multiple roles. Evert Han started as a Quality Assurance Engineer, working closely with project managers on offshore projects. Evert Han was responsible for identifying and solving quality problems.

Evert then took on the role of Section Head Network Administration before transitioning to the position of Corporate ICT Manager. In this role, they reorganized the department and successfully implemented information management strategies. Evert Han also worked as an Interface Co-ordinator and Project Manager, managing offshore projects worldwide.

Throughout their time at Bluewater Energy Services, Evert managed multidisciplinary and multicultural teams in an international setting, delivering various projects including the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of a Single Point Mooring (SPM) system in Bangladesh and the engineering and procurement of two Turret Mooring Systems in Angola.

Evert Han Huernink attended the University of Twente from 1993 to 1999, where they earned their Master of Science (MSc) degree. Their field of study was Business Information Technology, with a focus on Organisation and Information Technology. Prior to their university education, Evert attended the Royal comprehensive school of Apeldoorn from 1991 to 1993, where they earned their Bachelor's degree (B). Evert Han completed their VWO, a pre-university level program, during this time. Before that, from 1987 to 1991, they attended the same school and obtained their Bachelor's degree (B) in HAVO: Secondary Education.
