Barend Zwets has over 20 years of work experience in the engineering and construction industry. Barend started their career as a Junior Project Engineer at GustoMSC in 1997 and worked there until 2001. Barend then joined Bluewater Energy Services in 2001 and held various roles, including Naval Architect, Engineering Coordinator, Offshore Construction Superintendent, and Head Construction for Operations Support. Barend currently holds the position of Head Engineering and Construction for Operations Support at Bluewater Energy Services.

Barend Zwets holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Delft University of Technology. The duration of their studies and the year of completion have not been provided.
