Sunil Maddikatla began their career in 2011 as a Consultant at HCL AXON. In 2014, they moved on to pursue an MS by Research in Analog VLSI at IIIT Hyderabad. In 2016, they became the Founder & CEO of BlueSemi.

Sunil Maddikatla's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 2007 to 2011, and a Master of Science (MS) in VLSI from IIIT Hyderabad from 2014 to 2016.
