Ben Paton is an experienced project manager currently employed at BlueScope since October 2022. Prior to this role, Ben served in various engineering and managerial positions at South32 from May 2015 to September 2022, including Superintendent - Automation and Control and Process Control and Automation Engineer. Ben’s career includes expertise gained as an Automation & Communications Engineer at BHP Billiton from June 2011 to May 2015, and earlier as an Automation Engineer at BlueScope Steel from January 2001 to May 2011. Ben began the career as an Electrician at BHP Steel from January 1996 to January 2001. Ben holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Wollongong (2001-2006) and an Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Wollongong TAFE (1996-2000).
