Kelly Cheng has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. In 2002, they started as an Associate Scientist at Ariad Pharmaceuticals and worked there until 2006. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Market Analyst at a Private Online Retail Company. In 2007, they also completed a Summer Internship at EMD Serono. At Cubist Pharmaceuticals, they held the positions of Manager, Market Research from 2008 to 2012, and Product Manager, ENTEREG marketing from 2012 to 2015. From 2015 to 2022, they worked at Acceleron Pharma, initially as Senior Manager, Market Development / New Product Commercialization, then as Associate Director, Market Development (Reblozyl Launch) from 2018 to 2020, and finally as Director, Global Strategic Marketing (Sotatercept Launch) from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Director, New Product Planning at BlueRock Therapeutics, starting in 2023.

Kelly Cheng earned a BS degree in Chemistry from the University of New Hampshire, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Later, they pursued an MBA at Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business from 2006 to 2008. Before that, Kelly attended Lexington High School.
