Tom Pieterse has had a progressive work experience, starting in 2017 as an Assemblagetechnicus at Jongerius Hanco BV. Tom then worked as a Projectstudent at Deelfiets Nederland in 2020. In 2021, they took on the role of Projectstagiair at Tembo Group and later at Jongerius Hanco BV again. Most recently, in 2022, they have been working as a Mechanical Engineer at BluePrint Automation (BPA) and also completed an Afstudeerstage at the same company.

Tom Pieterse started their education at Farel College in 2011, where they pursued a degree in Higher General Secondary Education (Havo) until 2016. Following that, from 2016 to 2017, they attended HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Most recently, from 2018 to 2022, they studied Industrial Design or Industrial Product Design at Windesheim University, earning a Bachelor's degree.
