Freek Harms has several years of work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Commercial Account Manager at MWee AV Design for a year and a few months. In 2012, they joined Bodijn Machinewerken as a Work Preparer, responsible for machine documentation, material procurement, and preparing drawing packages for the workshop. From 2012 to 2016, Freek worked at Ventil Test Equipment BV, initially as a System Engineer, handling P&IDs for pneumatic and hydraulic systems, purchasing test system materials, and creating manuals for Ventil machines. Later, they were promoted to Lead System Engineer, where they oversaw the design and procurement of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, resolved technical issues, and collaborated with suppliers and specialists from different disciplines. In 2016, Freek joined Econosto as a Project Coordinator, managing multiple complex projects from quotation to client delivery. Their responsibilities included project planning, follow-up tracking, cost estimation, and maintaining communication with clients, suppliers, engineering teams, and the workshop. Finally, in 2018, Freek Harms became a Sales Application Engineer at BluePrint Automation (BPA), where they currently hold a role focusing on sales applications.

Freek Harms attended De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 2004 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Bewegingstechnologie.
