Míriam Pascual Benito has been working in the field since 2012, when they began as a Research Assistant at the Universitat de Barcelona. In 2016, they took on the roles of Researcher and PhD Student at the same institution. In 2020, they became the Chief Quality Officer at BLUEPHAGE, S.L. and in 2021, they returned to the Universitat de Barcelona as a Profesora Asociada.

Míriam Pascual Benito completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Environmental Science from the Universitat de Barcelona between 2007 and 2011. Míriam then obtained a Master's degree in Advanced Microbiology from the same university between 2011 and 2012. Finally, they earned a PhD in Biotecnology from the Universitat de Barcelona in 2020.
