Shaun Rahmeyer has over two decades of work experience, having started their career in the United States Air Force as an Analyst back in 2000 and ending their service in 2013. Following their departure, Rahmeyer joined PUBLIC SAFETY, NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF, where they worked as a Senior Analyst from May 2015 to October 2017. Soon after, in October 2017, they worked as an Administrator for Nevada Office of Cyber Defense Coordination until August 2022. During the same time, Rahmeyer also worked as a Commissioner/Ex Officio for Nevada Commission on Homeland Security from December 2017 until August 2022. In April 2018, they became an Advisory Board Member of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission until April 2022. Since May 2018, they have been an advisory board member for the UNR Cyber Security Center, which they will be leaving in June 2023. Currently, Rahmeyer is the CEO and Co-Founder for Blue Coyote Labs, LLC, beginning August 2022.

Shaun Rahmeyer received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Western Governors University between 2017 and 2020. Shaun also obtained three certifications from GIAC Certifications in 2018 and 2019 including Security Essentials (GSEC), IT Security Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership (GSTRT), and Security Leadership Essentials for Managers (GSLC).
