Josh Cramer is an accomplished professional in workforce development and education, currently serving as the Associate Vice President for Workforce Development at BlueForge Alliance since September 2024. Previously, Cramer was the Director of Education and Workforce Development at America Makes and the National Center of Defense Manufacturing & Machining from April 2023 to October 2024, and also held the same title at America Makes from October 2018 to October 2024, focusing on additive manufacturing and advanced manufacturing education. Cramer has extensive experience with the SME Education Foundation, where roles included Executive Director and Director of K-12 Educational Programs, emphasizing youth engagement in manufacturing and STEM fields. Earlier positions included Director of School Engagement for Project Lead The Way in Pennsylvania and Virginia, and Applied Engineering Instructor at South Park School District. Cramer's educational background includes a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Technology Teacher Education from California University of Pennsylvania, along with a certification in Engineering Education from Penn State University.
