Rachel Brown is an experienced engineer with a strong background in data engineering, data science, and innovation within the finance and technology sectors. Currently serving as an Engineer at BlueCove since January 2025, Rachel previously worked as a Data Engineer at Fulcrum Asset Management, where leadership grew from a solo role to overseeing three engineers and redesigned the system architecture for trading data using AWS RDS. At Capco, Rachel led a data science pod focused on sentiment detection in a Tier 1 Bank, while earlier roles included optimizing banking systems at Coutts and contributing to data privacy training at In The Know. Rachel began a career in education as a highly-rated tutor before advancing to engineering, culminating in a Master's degree in Design Engineering from Imperial College London.
