Matthew Schoaf serves as Principal at Blue Vista Capital Management, overseeing the sourcing, structuring, underwriting, and execution of transactions for the firm's middle market equity fund strategies while leading acquisition teams for single-family rental investments and core-plus open-end funds. Previously, Matthew held positions as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at Mesa Development, LLC, and Vice President of Acquisitions & Asset Management at DMB Associates. Earlier career roles include positions in dispositions and asset management at Fremont Investment & Loan, Assistant Vice President at Transwestern Investment Company, and Associate in the Capital Markets Group at JLL. Matthew earned a BBA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA from Northwestern University, and a Master of Real Estate Development from Arizona State University.
