Sonny van Westen is an actuarial specialist currently working at Blue Sky Group since October 2024, previously holding a similar position at AZL from December 2019 to September 2024, where responsibilities included guiding pension funds through the transition to the new pension system and developing a state-of-the-art ALM model in line with future pension legislation. Prior experience includes roles as a junior pension consultant at Mercer Nederland B.V. and Milliman Benelux, and a working student position at Triple A - Risk Finance. Sonny van Westen holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Amsterdam, as well as a VWO degree in Natuur en Techniek / Natuur en Gezondheid from Don Bosco College Volendam.
