Masoom Modi, MD, FACR, currently serves as the Medical Director at Blue Shield of California since November 2021 and holds the position of Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA Health since March 2015, with a designation as Regional Medical Director since 2017. Masoom Modi is an ABIM Board Certified Rheumatologist with a background that includes a Clinical Fellowship in Rheumatology at Cedars-Sinai from July 2012 to July 2014 and Internal Medicine residency at Maricopa Integrated Health System from July 2009 to June 2012. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George's University. Prior experience includes serving in healthcare education and outreach with AmeriCorps from July 2004 to June 2005.
