Thailynn Munroe is an experienced GIS professional currently serving as a GIS Analyst II at Blue Raster since July 2023. Prior to this role, Thailynn held positions as a GIS Developer and GIS Data Administrator at the City and County of Broomfield from October 2020 to August 2023. Thailynn also worked as a GIS Research Analyst II at the World Resources Institute from May 2018 to October 2020, focusing on global land use change, deforestation risk research, and managing the Global Forest Watch Fires platform. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Earth Systems Science from The University of Alabama in Huntsville and a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Cornell University. Additional experiences include graduate research assistantships and roles in meteorology and weather observation.
