Craig Donaldson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 1990, they started their career as a Varsity Hockey Player at Western University, where they played until 1995. Following that, they worked as a Database Programmer at Sprint Canada from 1997 to 2000. In 2003, they joined Headwaters Health Care Centre as an Emergency Medicine Physician, eventually becoming the Chief of Emergency Medicine from 2009 to 2011. Concurrently, they worked as a Colour Commentator for the OHL Game of the Week at Global from 1996 to 1997. In 2014, they transitioned to Chartwell Retirement Residences as a Long Term Care Physician. In 2020, they took on multiple roles, including being an Advisor at Hypercare, a Director at Blue Pierâ„¢, and a Member at HaloHealth. Additionally, they started working as the Canadian Medical Director at Global Excel Management Inc. in 2023. Craig is currently serving as the Secretary/Treasurer of the OMA Section on Emergency Medicine at the Ontario Medical Association.
Craig Donaldson began their education at Western University, where they completed an Honours Biochemistry degree from 1990 to 1994. Craig then pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at Western University from 1994 to 1999. Following their medical training, they joined the University of Toronto Family & Community Medicine for a Family Practice Residency, which took place from 2000 to 2003. Later, Craig Donaldson attended the University of Toronto Family & Community Medicine once again, this time for an Emergency Medicine Fellowship, which lasted from 2005 to 2006.
