Alexander Barney currently serves as an Associate at Blue Owl Capital, beginning in September 2024. Prior experience includes roles as an Equity Capital Markets Analyst at AmeriVet Securities, Inc. from June 2022 to August 2024 and from December 2020 to August 2021, specializing in originations and syndicate activities. Notable transactions include playing a co-manager role in the IPOs of Dutch Bros Inc. and Bumble, among others. Alexander's earlier experience also includes a Summer Analyst position at AmeriVet Securities in 2020, focusing on equity and debt capital markets. Prior to a finance career, Alexander served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from September 2012 to January 2019 and participated in the Warrior-Scholar Project at Yale University in 2018.
