Elizabeth Engeldrum is currently serving as the Lunar Permanence Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) Validation Lead and New Glenn Certification Lead at Blue Origin since April 2024. Prior to this role, Elizabeth worked as a Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin for their Space Protection Programs and on the Human Landing System. Elizabeth also has experience as a Research and Development Aerospace Engineer at SAIC, a Systems Engineer at Boeing, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Elizabeth holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Space Resources from the Colorado School of Mines, as well as several other degrees and certificates in Aerospace Engineering and related fields.
