Derek Padden is an experienced professional in IT and Cyber security consulting, currently serving as President at Blue Glacier Management Group since October 2003. Padden's expertise includes federal and corporate policy, network security architecture, and the establishment of 24x7 Computer Emergency Response Teams. Prior roles encompass Senior Program Manager positions at NCCIC/US-CERT and General Dynamics-Advanced Information Systems, where Padden led the first Cyber Security Operations contracts and managed operations teams across government agencies. Padden’s military background includes significant leadership roles in the US Air Force, where notable achievements include organizing the Network and Operations Security Center and the development of operations teams monitoring multiple bases.
