Shauna Ryder Diggs is the Director at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Shauna has also worked with the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges, Michigan Opera Theatre, University of Michigan, and Forgotten Harvest. Diggs has been a part of the Board of Directors for Forgotten Harvest since January 2010 and helped with the efforts to eliminate hunger in the community. From 2003-2011, Diggs served on the Science Committee as a Member Board of Directors for the Detroit Zoological Society. Shauna was also a Member Board of Directors for the Detroit Institute of Arts from 1995-2010. In addition, Diggs has been a Member of the Junior League of Detroit since 1995.
Shauna Ryder Diggs attended the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts for their undergraduate degree, where they were enrolled in the Inteflex Program for biomedical science. Shauna then attended the University of Michigan Medical School for their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree, again enrolled in the Inteflex Program. After completing their internal medicine internship at the University of Michigan Medical School, they went on to complete a dermatology residency at the same school.
