Frederic Motz is an experienced actuarial professional with a robust career spanning over three decades in the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Staff Vice President and Chief Actuary at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona since April 2020, Frederic previously held significant roles at Optum Health Behavioral Solutions as Vice President of Actuarial Services, at Oxford Health Plans and Health Net as Director of Actuarial Services, and at Health Springs in a similar capacity. Early in the career, Frederic gained experience as a Consulting Actuary at Ernst & Young and as an Actuarial Analyst at Cigna. Frederic holds a Master of Actuarial Science from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Rhodes College.
