Mark Shima is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business architecture, data architecture, and IT consulting. Currently serving as the Business Architecture Lead at Blue Cross and Blue Shield Federal Employee Program since October 2022, Mark focuses on transforming and optimizing business and technology capabilities. At IGTD Consulting, LLC, as Managing Member, and previously as Senior Data Architect/Team Lead at the Transportation Security Administration, Mark has led various initiatives including cloud deployment planning and data analytics architecture. Mark's notable contributions at Fannie Mae include fostering business architecture alignment across diverse functions and achieving significant cost savings through innovative data solutions. A consultant at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Mark has engaged with multiple agencies to develop enterprise architecture. Mark's career started at Shima Systems Services, Inc., which Mark founded, and has included leadership roles at CSC. Mark holds a BA in Mathematics from Grinnell College and has furthered education at the University of Southern California.
