Rick Chilton is an accomplished information security executive with over two decades of experience at BCBSNC, where Rick has served as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer since May 2000. In this role, Rick defines and maintains a cost-effective information security program that safeguards all information assets. Prior to this position, Rick held the title of Information Security Manager, focusing on security architecture, engineering, and vulnerability management, as well as serving as a Senior Information Security Analyst managing the Threat and Vulnerability Management Program. Rick's career began at Commercial Business Solutions, where Rick worked as a Service Manager from 1993 to 2000. Rick's educational background includes studies at the DeVry Institute of Technology and Northern Vance High School, along with training from SANS.
