Vanessa Lester is an experienced privacy and compliance professional with a strong background in healthcare administration and management. Currently serving as Privacy Program Manager at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts since June 2021, Vanessa previously held roles at Onduo as Senior Manager of Compliance and Compliance Manager between June 2019 and June 2021. Vanessa's career began at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where a progression through various compliance and privacy positions occurred from March 2015 to June 2019. Earlier experiences include serving as HIPAA Privacy Specialist at Brigham and Women's Hospital and as an EHR Implementation Engineer at Forward Advantage. Vanessa holds a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from The George Washington University and a Master of Business Administration from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
