Debbie Peikes is an accomplished leader in healthcare research and evaluation, currently serving as Vice President of Measurement and Evaluation at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts since January 2023. In this role, Debbie collaborates with analytics and business units to enhance program evaluation and ensure equitable care for 2.9 million members. Additionally, Debbie is a Board Member at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) since September 2022 and previously held the position of Vice President at Humana, where oversight of a 40-member research team focused on generating real-world evidence to improve patient outcomes. Debbie's extensive experience also includes a significant tenure at Mathematica Policy Research as a Senior Fellow, leading interdisciplinary teams in various healthcare improvement studies. With advanced degrees in Public Policy and Economics from Princeton University and experience as an Adjunct Faculty member, Debbie combines academic expertise with practical insights to advance healthcare effectiveness.
