Macaela Stephenson is an experienced professional with a demonstrated history of community engagement and investment, currently serving as the Director of Community Relations and Investment at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City since November 2012. In this role, Macaela develops strategic relationships and oversees impactful community initiatives aligned with the company’s mission. Prior to this position, Macaela held various roles within the American Red Cross, including Interim Executive Director and Director of Corporate and Foundation Gifts, where efforts were focused on enhancing philanthropic relationships to support regional emergency preparedness. Macaela's career also includes experience in sales and event coordination, exemplified by previous positions with Hallmark and Kustom Signals, Inc. Macaela holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Kansas.
