Ryan McElroy is an experienced medical professional currently serving as Executive Medical Director at Health Care Service Corporation since January 2019, after holding the role of Medical Director. Prior to this position, Ryan co-owned Pediatric Associates of Plano from July 2008 to January 2019 while practicing as a General Pediatrician. Ryan's earlier experience includes serving as Chief Resident at Children's Medical Center of Dallas from July 2007 to June 2008, where responsibilities included liaising between training and academic staff, managing resident schedules, and teaching medical students. Ryan completed residency training in general pediatrics at Children's Medical Center of Dallas from June 2004 to June 2007, following a Doctor of Medicine degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center (2000-2004) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Southwestern University (1997-2000).
