Leonard D'Avolio serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Blue Circle Health, where efforts focus on designing a non-profit healthcare delivery system for individuals with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) in underserved communities. D'Avolio's extensive experience includes being a member of the Board of Directors for the Youth Development Organization and an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School. Previous roles include Board Member for Intermountain Homecare & Hospice, Advisor to The Leona M and Harry B Helmsley Charitable Trust on strategies related to T1D, and Co-Founder of Cyft, emphasizing data-driven decision-making in healthcare. D'Avolio has also held positions such as Director of Informatics at Ariadne Labs and Assoc. Center Director at VA Boston Healthcare System, contributing to biomedical informatics research and education as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Northeastern University. D'Avolio holds a PhD in Biomedical Informatics from UCLA and a Master's degree in Information Technology from Bentley University.
