Matt Longwell has a diverse work experience that spans over 10 years. Matt started their career as a Barista at Blue Bottle Coffee in January 2015 before moving on to become a Coffee & Retail Trainer in June 2015. Matt then worked as an Administrative Assistant III at UCSF from March 2012 to July 2012. Matt joined Reveille Coffee Co. in June 2013 and served as a Store Manager until December 2014. Returning to Blue Bottle Coffee, Matt held various roles including Regional Training Manager for the NYC market from July 2016 to November 2018, Associate Product Manager from November 2018 to September 2019, and Product Manager for Beverage and Equipment from September 2019 to October 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Global Product Manager for Beverage and Coffee at Blue Bottle Coffee since October 2020.

Matt Longwell attended Boston University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.
