Cicelin Rakotomahazo is a dedicated conservation officer focused on mangrove ecosystems, currently serving as the Multi-Regional Technical Support Manager for Mangrove and Blue Carbon at Blue Ventures since 2020. They also contribute as a Socio-economic Scientist on the Mangrove REDD+ Project with the same organization since 2013. Cicelin holds a Bachelor's degree in aquaculture and fisheries and a Master's degree in Applied Oceanology from the Marine Science and Fisheries Institute at the University of Toliara in Madagascar, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Their educational background includes a Baccalaureate from Mahabo High School and a BEPC in Biology from Mahabo College.
