Šimon Podlesný has over four years of work experience as a DevOps engineer. Šimon started their career as a freelancer in 2017, working on various projects until September 2019. From September 2019 to September 2021, they worked as a DevOps engineer at REDAMP SECURITY s.r.o. Currently, Šimon is employed at Bloomreach, where they initially joined as a DevOps engineer in October 2021 and has recently been promoted to the role of Senior DevOps Engineer in February 2022.

Šimon Podlesný began their education in 2011 at the Secondary Technical School of Jozef Murgaš, where they studied Information and Network Technology from 2011 to 2015. Šimon then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from 2015 to 2019 at the Brno University of Technology. After completing their Bachelor's Degree, they continued their studies at the same university to earn a Master's Degree in System Engineering and Informatics from 2019 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Šimon Podlesný also obtained certifications from Cisco. In 2013, they completed the CCNA Exploration: Network Fundamentals course, and in 2014, they obtained the CCNA Exploration: Routing Protocols and Concepts certification.
