Alex Hakso is an accomplished data scientist and team lead at Bloomberg LP since January 2021, with a strong track record in forecasting financial metrics and developing innovative features in transactional data analysis at Second Measure. Previous experience includes significant contributions as an Insight Data Science Fellow, where Alex created a tool for calculating marginal driving costs, and as a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford Earth. Alex has held various research and intern positions at Chevron and TOTAL, improving seismic analysis techniques and demonstrating the practical impacts of geophysical research. Alex holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Geophysics from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Pepperdine University.
