Penelope Hoopes is an accomplished communications professional currently serving as an Environment Communications Associate at Bloomberg Philanthropies since April 2024. Prior experience includes a senior role at Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis, where Penelope progressed from Junior Account Executive to Senior Account Executive from March 2021 to April 2024. Penelope contributed to the Biden-Harris Presidential Transition as a Press Assistant on the Confirmations Team for a brief period in late 2020 and worked as a Communications Associate for Biden for President during the 2020 election campaign. Earlier roles include providing IT support at Hamilton College from September 2017 to March 2020 and various internships in account management and language strategy. Penelope holds a degree from Hamilton College, where studies were completed from 2016 to 2020, and graduated from Sidwell Friends School in 2016.
