Rizel Scarlett is a Staff Developer Advocate at Block, focusing on open source AI tools for developers. Previously, Rizel held a similar role at TBD, an incubator within Block, where open source platforms for international money exchange were developed. Experience includes leadership positions at G{Code} House, including Director of Programming and Director of Curriculum and Engagement, aimed at empowering young women of color through technical training and community support. Rizel also served as Developer Advocate at GitHub, contributing to open source and generative AI initiatives.
