Melanie Griesser's work experience begins in 2006 when they worked as an Analyst at Archstone Consulting. Melanie conducted various projects, including change management communications and knowledge transfer for financial planning application implementation, facilitated process design sessions for a utility undergoing finance organization transformation, and performed diagnostic analysis for an operations improvement project. From 2008 to 2009, they served as a Senior Analyst at Archstone Consulting, leading training documentation creation, training rollout, and standardization of reporting processes for a global chemical manufacturer. In 2010, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Archstone Consulting, leading payroll and budgeting workstreams for a financial process standardization project at a consumer product company's North America plants.
In 2011, Melanie had an internship as an Assistant Brand Manager for Summer at Procter & Gamble, where they developed a seasonal limited edition strategy and rollout timeline. Melanie also led a brainstorming session and tested consumer concepts.
Melanie's career at Procter & Gamble started in 2012. Melanie worked as an Assistant Brand Manager for Aussie Hair Care, leading brand initiatives and restoring growth on the declining brand. From 2014 to 2016, they served as an Assistant Brand Manager for Head & Shoulders, leading the development and execution of the largest innovation bundle in 10 years. Melanie achieved 40% higher sales than expected, making the North America region the fastest-growing globally.
From 2016 to 2017, Melanie worked as a Shopper Marketing Brand Manager for Beauty & Personal Care at Procter & Gamble, focusing on customer and category development at Target. Melanie provided consultancy, delivered shopper insights, and developed design projects to grow the category.
In 2017, Melanie became a Sales Account Executive for Oral Care at Target as part of the Target Customer Team. Melanie led the turnaround of P&G's Oral Care business, delivering sales growth and developing a business turnaround plan for Oral-B Power products.
In 2018, Melanie became the NATIVE Retail Expansion Leader, leading the retail expansion plans for P&G's acquired Direct to Consumer brand NATIVE. Melanie also led the expansion vision and sell-in for new NATIVE category launches with Target as the exclusive lead launch partner.
From 2018 to 2020, Melanie served as the Brand Director for Head & Shoulders Innovation at Procter & Gamble, leading innovation development and product plans for scalp segment growth. Melanie also led consumer segmentation and brand architecture revamp.
From 2020 to 2023, Melanie worked as the Brand Director for Head & Shoulders North America at Procter & Gamble. Melanie led the North America business, achieving annual goals and doubling the eCommerce business.
In 2023, Melanie Griesser joined Blistex Inc. as the Vice President of Marketing.
Melanie Griesser obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in Marketing and Decision Sciences from Miami University, completing their studies between the years 2002 and 2006. Melanie then pursued further education at Indiana University, specifically at the Kelley School of Business, where they obtained their MBA degree with a specialization in Marketing. This period of advanced study lasted from 2010 to 2012.
