David Gugino has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. David began their career as an Account Executive at J.Walter Thompson in 1989 and then worked as an Associate Product Manager at Nabisco, Inc. from 1994 to 1996. David subsequently joined The Coca-Cola Company as a Senior National Marketing Manager, where they developed marketing strategies and programs for national customers. In 2003, Gugino became the Vice President of Customer Marketing at Revlon Consumer Products Company, leading a team responsible for co-marketing with national supermarkets and other emerging channels. David then co-founded Legacy Communications Ltd. in 2007 before joining Blistex Inc. in 2009. At Blistex, Gugino held various roles including Group Manager of Retail Marketing & Category Insights, Group Manager of Shopper Marketing and E-Commerce, and Amazon US Team Leader/Sales Manager. In these roles, they led various strategic initiatives such as assortment strategy, pricing, performance marketing, creative development, and business analytics. David also developed comprehensive digital strategies, pioneered e-commerce POS data reporting tools, and led the development of retail insights and shopper research. Overall, Gugino has demonstrated a strong expertise in marketing, sales management, and e-commerce throughout their career.
David Gugino holds an MBA degree from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, which they obtained from 1992 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business from 1985 to 1989, earning a BBA in Marketing.
