Stefan van der Veen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic and operational management within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as a bestuurs-/strategisch adviseur, programmamanager, and hoofd RvB ondersteuning at HMC since November 2019, Stefan is responsible for advising the Board of Directors on strategic direction. Additionally, since June 2018, Stefan holds the role of vice-voorzitter of the Raad van Toezicht at Blijf Groep, overseeing audit committees. Previous roles include bestuurssecretaris at CJG Rijnmond, MT-lid Zorginkoop at De Friesland Zorgverzekeraar, and senior management advisor at Ziekenhuis Tjongerschans. Stefan's early career involved significant positions in the hospitality industry with Accor Hotels and InterContinental Hotels Group.
