Kimberly Jung

Kimberly Jung has a diverse work experience history. Kimberly is currently the CEO of Blanchard House, a company that produces immersive, narrative-style podcasts. Kimberly is also a Faculty member at Thayer Leadership. Previously, Kimberly served as a Board Member at Alipes Inc., a Boston-based marketing agency, and at Bunker Labs, a national organization that supports military veteran entrepreneurs. Kimberly was the Co-Founder and CEO of Rumi Spice, a social enterprise that imports saffron from Afghan farmers. Prior to that, they worked as the COO of Pickle Robot Company and as an Executive Officer for MIT E-Vent, where they managed emergency ventilator engineering projects during the COVID-19 pandemic. Kimberly also gained experience as a Mechatronics Engineer Intern at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and in various roles within the US Army, including Brigade Construction Officer and Route Clearance Platoon Leader. Throughout their career, Kimberly has demonstrated leadership, innovation, and a commitment to making a positive impact.

Kimberly Jung's education history begins in 2000 when they attended Harvard-Westlake School. Kimberly completed their high school education there, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. In 2004, they went on to study at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following their undergraduate studies, Kimberly pursued further education at Harvard Business School from 2013 to 2015, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. After a gap, they then enrolled at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2020, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering.

In addition to their academic degrees, Kimberly has also earned professional certifications. In 2011, they became a Professional Engineer in Mechanical Engineering in the State of California, certified by the NCEES institution. Additionally, in May 2020, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
