Michael Ownbey is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the hospitality and consulting sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Consulting Partner and Practice Lead for the Experience Center at The Ken Blanchard Companies since August 2017, Michael previously worked at Rock Bottom Restaurants, Inc., holding various leadership roles including Director of Operations Excellence Training, where leadership of a ten-member team drove the creation of an Operations Excellence Department for multiple restaurant concepts. Michael also directed management and training programs and oversaw a significant budget. Earlier career achievements include management positions at H.S.C. Hospitality, where Michael became the youngest General Manager in company history. Michael Ownbey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Asheville.
