Anthony Oland

Global Chief Talent Officer at BLADE

Anthony Oland has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Anthony began their career in 2006 at Franklin Templeton Investments, where they held roles as an HR Business Partner and Senior Human Resources Manager. During their time there, they implemented cost-cutting measures and built models for organizational capabilities.

From 2010 to 2014, Anthony worked as a Human Resources and Operations Executive Consultant for various clients in the financial, healthcare, and data/tech sectors. Anthony managed strategic initiatives and performed human capital and strategy initiatives.

In 2014, Anthony joined WPP as EVP, Chief People & Inclusion Officer, where they guided and defined the talent strategy across the region. Anthony also served as SVP, Global HR for Wunderman/Thompson Data & Analytics, leading global workforce models and workforce redesign. Anthony was later promoted to SVP, HR, North America, where they served as a strategic business partner to 5 P&Ls and addressed key business issues.

In 2019, Anthony joined Boxed as Chief People & Administrative Officer, where they played a key role in leading the pivot from B2C to B2B. Anthony led strategy sessions with the leadership team and documented plans.

Currently, Anthony is the Global Chief Talent Officer at BLADE Air Mobility, Inc. As a member of the executive team, they focus on establishing a structure for various facets of the company and oversees HR, DEI, Corporate Operations, Real Estate/Facilities, and global Customer Experience teams. Anthony also works with the Board on executive compensation, organizational design, data analysis and reporting, diversity strategies, and succession planning.

Anthony Oland's education history starts with him attending Harvard Law School in 2004, where they obtained a certification in the Program on Negotiation. After that, they enrolled at New Jersey City University, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Business Administration and a Master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
