Sean Reinsma possesses extensive experience in structural engineering, currently serving as an Associate at Blackwell since January 2014. Previous roles include Structural Engineer, Structural Designer, and Structural Engineering Intern at Blackwell. Prior to that, Sean worked as a Structural Engineering Intern at Truman Engineering Services Inc., where load cases were developed in line with Canadian building codes, and buildings were tested for air and water leakage. Sean's background also includes research contributions at the University of Waterloo, focusing on cost-effective concrete forming systems, alongside field engineering positions at PCL Construction, overseeing concrete placement and design revisions. Sean began a career in engineering with a bridge engineering internship at McCormick Rankin Corporation (MRC), specializing in onsite inspections and structural calculations. Sean holds a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Honours Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
