Heather Noelle Costigan is an experienced special education professional currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Blackstone Valley Prep Mayoral Academy since October 2021, where responsibilities include teaching multiple special education classes and managing students on Alternate Assessment. In addition to the current role, Heather has worked as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Wellesley High School since August 2015, supporting a vocational-based program for individuals with special needs. Previous experience includes a position as a Residential Supervisor at Evergreen Center, where Heather focused on life skills development for individuals with ASD and developmental disabilities. Heather's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching from Western Governors University, expected to be completed in August 2024.
