Sevion DaCosta is an experienced professional currently serving as an Associate in the iShares Americas Strategy at BlackRock since August 2021, having previously held the position of Analyst in the same division. In addition to this role, Sevion is a Fellow at the Black Wealth Club, which focuses on wealth generation and community reinvestment among emerging Canadian black prospects. Academic achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics with a Legal Studies sequence from Claremont McKenna College. Early in the career, Sevion has held various positions, including Project Manager at the Rose Institute of State and Local Government, Resident Assistant at Claremont McKenna College, and Investigative Intern at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. Sevion's foundational education includes an International Baccalaureate and Ontario Secondary School Diploma from Upper Canada College.
