Paolo Puggioni is a highly experienced professional in the field of data and analytics, currently serving as Managing Director at BlackRock since October 2018, where the focus is on integrating alternative data and data science into the investment strategies of fundamental equities. Prior to this role, Paolo held the position of Machine Learning Data Scientist at Schroders, contributing to the Data Insights Unit's research integrity, and worked as a Quantitative Researcher at Stratagem Technologies, focusing on sports data modeling and algorithmic trading strategies. Educationally, Paolo holds a PhD in Computational Neuroscience from The University of Edinburgh and has completed multiple degrees in computational neuroscience and physics from esteemed institutions, including a Master’s and Bachelor’s from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca.
